Christmas Trees
Northern Tree Transplanters have had a very busy winter/spring period. Here are some of the
major projects we have carried out. Please click on photos for high definition images.

While most people were enjoying there Christmas break we
were busy creating a large screen with conifers.
This was to create privacy for both dwellings
We were pleased to do this work, for a private client.
He has since given us other large hedge plantings at
other properties.
The Bobcat has also been busy, moving small scots pine, these trees made a huge difference to
this new course. Seen here at Stokesley golf, with Roseberry topping in the distance.
Transhipping trees from Germany.
We have been kept busy transhipping trees from Germany.
These arrive packed tightly some times up to the roof of large artic wagons, which can all arrive
together but because we have a large yard at Lanchester we are able to handle this, we unpack
them with our teleporter and Volvo loader which can lift up to 8tonne.
Using our special chains and lifting slings we sort out the trees and shrubs into groups which are
then delivered with our flat backed wagon which is able to access smaller roads also due to not
being a curtainsider lifting with cranes/loaders is much easier.
Also due to getting trees delivered for sometimes several people at a time haulage rates are
lower.
If a customer wants a large number of trees and is not registered for reclaiming VAT or is unable
to claim vat on the planting scheme.
You could purchase the trees at a lower vat rate.

Work at Leeds continues, a further 200 trees were moved, this time we secured the trees.
We have been asked back to move a further 300 trees, in the winter.
We had a good month shifting large trees fully out in leaf, these trees were well covered to avoid
any damage.

These trees have spent the last year in air pots after being tree spaded the root system is fantastic.
